New Ford Puma Crowned What Car? Car of the Year 2020
2020 is the year the Puma returns, with a stylish and dynamic crossover that reflects the aspirations of this generation of customers.
The acclaimed motoring magazine ‘What Car?’ has crowned the Ford Puma Car of the Year 2020. With mild-hybrid technology, advanced driver assistance technologies and its incredible luggage space, it’s no surprise the Puma took the crown over its competitors. The Puma offers a mix of fun and frugality that’s not been previously seen with Ford’s other models, creating a car that truly excels all round.
The magazine and website, which has over 1.95 million monthly users, has recommended the well-equipped Puma ST-Line X Mild Hybrid 1.0 EcoBoost 155PS. Prices for this model start at £23,645.
Roelant de Waard, vice president of Sales and Service, of Ford of Europe said: “It’s a great honour for the Ford Puma to be named as ‘What Car?’ Car of the Year 2020. We’re all excited to see the return of the Puma name on a stylish and dynamic crossover that reflects today’s customer aspirations. Puma blends practicality with performance and fuel-efficiency with its choice of a 1.0 litre, 125PS or 155PS hybrid options.
“To receive such a high-quality praise from industry experts like What Car? kicks off the year to a great start. This is Ford’s sixth What Car? Car of the Year win, and we are thankful for the continued support.”
The new Ford Puma is now available for test drving at our Ford showroom in Halesworth, Suffolk, just off the Norfolk border.
