Mick Gooderham retires after 28 years
On Friday 7th March 2025, after 28 years and 5 months, Mick Gooderham, the Ford Service Manager, retired.
After an emotional week, where former colleagues and long-standing customers visited with gifts and good wishes, we had the chance to say thank you and all the best to Mick.
The whole site joined him and other former colleagues to send him on his way with bacon rolls and a toast to a happy healthy retirement. He was truly humbled by the personal visits and phone calls and of course the entire site giving him a special send off.
The photos don't depict the turn out as everyone left the middle of the room clear for Derek and Mick to speak - you may well notice a couple of very familiar faces!
