Vehicle Heavy Recovery Driver
An opportunity has arisen for Vehicle Heavy Recovery Driver to join our busy vehicle recovery department.
Due to an increase in demand from our customer base we are now looking for capable staff to expand our operations in Ipswich.
We operate 24 hour/7 day a week, and this will include early mid and late shifts.
This is a multi-skilled role, and you will need to be mechanically knowledgeable, with the ability to load and unload and recover a wide range of vehicles including cars, vans, motorcycles and commercial vehicles nationwide.
, The role includes the recovery of heavy and light vehicles on live motorways or trunk roads, and you will be required to have a knowledge of safe working practices, including under lift, winch, and crane operations
You will also need to be motivated, take pride in your work and have a professional approach, with the ability to work alone or as part of the team.
The minimum requirement is Cat C+E and a Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence qualification (CPC)
You will be provided with Company uniform
Previous experience in the vehicle recovery industry is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Experience:
- Driving: minimum 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Professional Competence qualification (CPC) (required)
- Category C+E Licence (HGV Artic) is required
Work Location: In person
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
